How we train and what we teach at Birstwith barkyard

At Birstwith Barkyard we make sure to implement loads of training into our day. we use positive only techniques to make sure your dog has the best time with us. because of this and the fact that we will be training in groups we can't offer behaviour modification training, but if this is something that you want take a look at our 1-2-1 dog training sessions or our classes!

-Impulse control & Sit / Down-stays-

Teaching down-stays and impulse control with distractions

Teaching a place command to ensure your dog can settle when needed

Teaching Recall Whilst being around other dogs

Sending your dog to the wrong daycare could be bad for your dogs confidence, at Birstwith barkyard we have a professional procedure for introducing new dogs to the pack, this ensures that all of the dogs get along and can massively boost their confidence around other dogs! we will also be implementing loads of interactive play and training games to tire your dogs brain out for when they get home whilst training commands in the most fun way!
